I qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1983 having studied by way of a full time degree course in Nottingham and thereafter gaining practical experience working for a professional firm of surveyors and a public property company. Since qualifying I worked for a lending institution and a large firm of London surveyors carrying out surveys and valuations of residential property for all purposes before setting up as a sole practitioner in 1988. In 1995 I was appointed a Fellow of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
During my professional career I have gained considerable local knowledge of Ealing and West London. I am totally independent with no ties to any lender or estate agent and I am pleased to offer impartial advice on any aspect of residential property. I am a member of The Independent Surveyors Association (ISA) and fully support their aims and objectives.
In 2001 I received SAVA Accreditation for carrying out Homebuyer's Surveys and Valuations.
I am also qualified to carry out Home Energy Surveys and in conjunction with Elmhurst Energy Systems Ltd. to provide SAP Energy Ratings which measure the overall energy efficiency of a home. If you require more information on SAP and energy efficiency generally, this can be obtained from your local Energy Efficiency Advice Centre.
